No Dignity Friday Returns!

It's been awhile since I did a no dignity Friday, so I figured it was time. This post is very loosely based on a tag from Loralee about high school. I'm not actually doing the tag, I'm just going to show you embarrassing pictures from high school. That's a fair trade, right?

This is, or was, my most guarded secret. I was a cheerleader in High School. Yep, that's me with the bad form up in the air.

Now for a real gem, this is a picture of me in my graduation dress. I went to a very, very small school (200 kids, k-12, all in one building) and we didn't really have prom, instead we got all dressed up for graduation and had a dance after. No caps and gowns.

I graduated in 1993, so yes, it was OK for me to wear those white nylons with my puffy sleeves. And if you look closely, you can see my lace shoes are dyed to match my dress. Fancy.

So that ought to do it, you can start making fun of me in the comments now.

I had that same short haircut when I was a senior. The fancy pants shoes are stunning.

I think I have a few of those cheerleading pictures to add to the collection!! And yes I had puffy sleeves too, except they were blue, with matching dyed blue shoes.
I think maybe we went to the same High School....? Too Funny!!
p.s. I think I feel famous, I made it on your blog!!

where is that dress?!? is it so much uglier than the christmas dress I wore! ha ha. and by the way. I thought it was sooooo cool that you cheered. I totally wanted to be a cheerleader when I grew up.

Love it.

I also love how your dress seemed to be the same colors as your school colors. Did you have to die that too?

Seriously though, you are adorable. I know it's embarrassing now, but I bet back then you were the one all the other kids were jealous of.

Oh, an I totally remember dyed shoes. I remember shopping at Payless with my mom and thinking about how I was sooooo looking forward to my wedding one day (I was 10 in 1993) so that I could die my bridesmaids satin shoes to match their dresses. Soooooo cool!

Rah! Rah! Sis-boom-bah!

Sweet dress. I had one similar but it had a bubble skirt and was aqua blue. But I don't know that I will ever be brave enough to post it.

You have guts girl. Plus you look much better in yours than I did in mine.

TJ! a cheerleader?!?! I had no idea!!! I kinda feel betrayed in a way. But I am also impressed with your toe touch. You know that the next time I see you I'm going to make you do a cheer for me. I'd really like to see your spirit fingers in action!

I'm speechless. All the things we've shared together and you never mentioned THIS? Hmmmmmm- what else are you hiding??

Wow.

That rarely happens.
