Is she really here?

Today I tried to convince Roxy that she is not real. That after I had Ben, I really wanted a daughter too, so I imagined her. I told her everything about her only exists in my head. Everything;  school, her room, having friends, all of it is only pretend to me.

She didn't buy it for one second. Instead she made alien sounds and said, "did that sound like something your imagination could have made up?"

I had to concede, it did not.

Is it wrong to try to mess with your kid on such a deep mental level?

Not at all. I think it's required.

Where was that picture taken? it looks like Santa Monica or Venice Beach. If so, why didn't you tell us you were here, we would have joined you! She is too cute!

I like to tease my kids like that too. It's entertaining.

That was kind of a short stint as an existentialist, but it sounds pretty exciting.

Roxy is so cool.

maybe a little wrong but so much fun :) I don't think she will be daunted by anything however, she is too smart and strong :)

Now I know not to leave Tyson at your house alone... ha ha. Well at least until he is as smart as Roxy.
