I'll never forget that day and the weeks that followed. The pain.
God bless the mothers, daughter, sons, fathers, parents, neighbors and friends.
God bless America.

HOME OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE BABY!!!
well being Canadian, in case you didn't know, ha ha. it too hurt our country just as bad, we felt the pain and being i was close to NYC at the time...in ONT. it was felt even more. How could they do that?! One good thing about Bush was he went after them....
I remember this day perfectly. I was just walking out the door to go to the bus when this happended. I had no idea until I got to school how bad it really was. I also had a soccer game that day. there was also one girl in our school that had family in NYC at the time. she was freaking out. it was sad
I remember I was making breakfast for Cassie and I. A friend of Gary's called and told me, I hadn't even turned on the TV or anything that morning. I was in shock and couldn't believe that it could happen in the US. The reality and closeness made me feel so unsure, so unsafe, and so sad. I remember the endless hours of TV coverage of the aftermath. It seemed neverending. It made me sad that this was the reality for my kids, terrorist attacks on our soil.
There's really not much to say, is there? I'm with you: God bless America.
