Listen, I'm a good girl. But today I went to Wal-mart. As I was leaving the old lady greeter person was friendly as usual.
"Thank you for shopping at Wal-mart on this fine Sabbath Day."
LOOK, I'M SORRY YOU HAVE TO WORK TODAY, BUT WHEN A GIRL NEEDS CAFFEINE AND CHOCOLATE, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK IT IS. I yelled back at her in my head.

Hey I was at Walmart today, too.... was it the lady with the tan/brown sweater? She did not even say anything to me just looked at me... but then... I think my bitchiness is just glowing today, I don't need to say anything, people just know to ignore me. I hope it is gone by tomorrow.... Or work could be fun......
she was a hypocrite and neets to be pimp-slapped repeatedely. what walmart is that? i need an exact address.
I can't believe she said that. Out loud.
Makes you wonder how many other people she vocally judged.
Maybe she was just being friendly?
Or maybe she was just a passive-aggressive bitch.
She used the word Sabbath? What the.....
can I have some of your chocolate please?
BTW- it was great to meet at OG. I wished we had one big old table to all sit and chat!
I had to make an early morning (2a.m. early) run to Wally World to get feminine products.
Ox. Mire.
To greeter that said that to you, you should have replied...
Hello Pot. I'm the Kettle. It's nice to meet you.
As you well know, we've shopped on the Sabbath too, and I'm pretty sure there are plenty of things that matter much much more than that.
But oh well.
OK you're joking right? That is sooo calling the kettle black....what the...you are so funny, and Bruce gave me crap for saying a bad word on your blog, glad to see i'm not the only unperfect person....hahahah love it.
Sounds to me like you feel guilty! Happy Sabbath!
totally broke the sabbath today as well. went to maverick and got my fix of coke. and then got rebuked by my sister when i told her i saw one of her friends.
when you need your fix, you just NEED it.
Hey, TJ, I stole your "validation issues" comment, as I am begging for people to de-lurk on my site. Let me know if you want me to remove my plagiarism, but I hope you're ok that I want to steal your brilliant plea.
Ramona, I'd love to share some chocolate with you, but now I'd have to buy more first.
Kim, steal from me all you want. What's mine is yours.
Anonymous, of course I feel guilty.
You make me laugh. A lot. You should've put your arm around the Wal-Mart lady and sang "Let us oft speak kind words to each other..." Maybe she was on her period too. An old lady period- and I her those are worse than ours. :)
You should have just asked if that meant there was a special on all things Ozzie Osborn.
What's a lurker?
Rebuked for anything by a Wal-mart employee?
I'm sorry you had to go through that.
A lurker is someone who reads posts but doesn't comment. You're safe, Gatsby.
Thanks, TJ. And while we're at it, can I have your car? And maybe your laptop? And....
Do you sometimes go to the blogs you follow and click on the people who leave comments at random? Well, I do. And that's how I found your blog. And I just laughed really hard when I read this post. BUSTED!!
I was with Kristina. Maybe she is really just cheesy. And I was also with Kristina when she countered that the lady was perhaps a garden-variety HAG.
At our house, we on PURPOSE wait until the fine Sabbath to do our shopping. When we lived in the Holiness of Draper, it was like the stores were open just for us. No lines. No screaming kids. (Unless, actually, it's Walmart.) Moved to Sugarhouse, and it's not quite the same.
The greeters can judge all they want. I judge them for being tacky. I bet everything they like in the world is mauve and came from HSN. Or makes a meow sound.
