In an effort to get the TV turned off, I bought the chic-a-dees puzzles. Shortly after starting, Roxy commented that it is nice to spend quality time as a family. Of course, now that my blog is dedicated to Roxy quotes I considered blogging that, and ultimately deemed it cute- but not enough on it's own.
Ben was progressing on his puzzle a bit faster than Roxy, and commented to that effect.
Now comes the part worthly of the blog....
"Ben stop showboating!"

Showboating. That's a new one! *chuckle*
Tonight Bryce was playing quite hard with Jeffrey, and they were rolling on the floor (no, really, not just the acronym ROFL!) and laughing, and Bryce cried out, "I'm laughing my brains out!"
How does she even know what that means?? My kids haven't said too much lately...too busy playing Mario Kart to communicate.
That is so cute.
I think I may be a bit of showboat in real life, too.

hey maybe you shouldn't turn the TV off, sounds like she gets some good quotes from somewhere! haha love you guys
Her preschool teacher used to use the word showboat. So that's how she learned it.
NOT TV, just kidding christine, I'm not offended.
I love tv, it's the best sitter ever!
What's a chic-a-dee puzzle? need to google.
Roxy needs to sit down with my 5 yo and give her a good talkin to. She doesn't say enough blog-worthy stuff. I blame the genes she got from her father.
