Yesterday was Benji's first day of second grade. I had to go to work before he left, but I asked his Dad to take a picture of him.
I swear this is the kid I kissed good-bye in the morning:
And this is who went to school in my little boys place.
I literally gasped out loud when I saw the picture(s). I guess my innocent, angel faced boy has been replaced by this boy. I really, really enjoyed little Benji, but so far I'm just as in love with big Ben.

They are both just addorable! Little Benji and big boy Ben! My little guy starts preschool soon and I am already missing my little baby, who is now a big preschooler. But like you, I love the big boy he is becoming. I think the best is yet to come!
He looks so grown up!
My nephew will be 7 in December, and I saw him about a month ago, and almost had a heart attack. He had always had longer hair, but he had it cut so you could see his ears, and he looked like a little man.
oh my gosh TJ he has changed so much and the last picture totally looks like Bruce, Bruce will be happy Blaine did the part in his hair. Oh geez. What a cutie
I don't like to think about how fast they grow up. My youngest will be 1 in September and it literally feels like he was born yesterday. I know we all say that, but I really mean it with him. This past year has gone by too quickly.
My oldest will be in 3rd grade. The second will be in 1st. The third will be in preschool. The 4th is becoming a toddler. I'm not sure I'm ready for all of that because it means that I'm getting really old.
They grow to fast... to dang fast.
I swear he looks older there than he did on Sunday.
OH MY GOSH!! I don't think that is an accurate picture! I agree with April- he didn't look that big on Sunday!
he looks so handsome! When I first met you at the byu stadium you were pregnant with him............I think....ccorrect me if im wrong. Are we really that old? I bet he is one of the smartest kids in his class.....he's a sharp one that one.
If he's that old then that means Rachel's that old too. So sad.
Awww he is adorable but he probably doesn't like that so tell him he looks rockin' or awesome or something like that.
Omgosh-my Cboy starts 2nd grade in a week. It is amazing how quick they grow. Once those teeth start falling out, all baby is gone. *sob*
